A few places to sample

  • Acanto
  • Acanto is an intimate Italian restaurant located across from Millennium Park. The farm-to-table seasonal menu features handcrafted pastas, fresh sea-food, and stone-oven pizzas. The fig and tomato pizza is a must have. The extensive hand-selected wine list features wines from Italy’s major wine regions. Acanto has a beautiful dining room, outstanding service, and overall it is an amazing experience.

  • CH Distillery
  • CH Distillery, where they actually make vodka, gin, and whiskey in house. Right next door is Embeya, currently my favorite restaurant in the city. Great service is complemented by bright, flavorful progressive Asian cuisine alongside amazing drinks and wines. It’s a great local combo.

  • Pritzker Pavilion
  • Sit under the stars in our spectacular Millennium Park under the Pritzker Pavilion designed by architect Frank Gehry at the Grant Park Music Festival during the summer. Enjoy free concerts every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday featuring world-renowned artist and the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra. Bring your own picnic, a bottle of wine, and enjoy this magnificent venue for a romantic evening or a fun, group gathering.
